ASKED QUESTIONS
Is it a subscription thing?
Nope. It's been kept simple. Enjoy the free version with essential features, or make a one-time, small payment through your app store for the full version. No recurring charges, just support towards your personal best.
What do I get if I buy it?
The full version unlocks all the goodness. You'll get unlimited saved timers (instead of just three), the ability to enable hundredths of a second input and display, plus import and share options (and we'll install most of the timers available on the resources page (and yes; this does include the beep test)).
What's a Reaction session?
Reaction sessions spice things up with random interval calls. They're great for sharpening your reflexes in martial arts or boxing, or for creating dynamic workouts for rehab; it can be like those fancy light reaction training tools, but using just your phone and some everyday objects. Again, it's just like having a personal coach calling things out, only with this session, you don't know what they're going to call, or for how long.
How do I share things?
On the Home screen or in a folder, hit the edit button in the bottom left. Select the workout you want to share, tap the share button in the top right, and voila! Your workout exports as a .csv file, ready for another full-version user to import, or some tweaking in a spreadsheet.
Is there a free trial?
There isn't a free trail, but the free version (without ads) lets you test drive the core features. You'll get a good feel for what PB Intervals™ can do.
What's an Interval session?
An Interval session is a workout that uses timed intervals or steps at different intensity levels. Think of it as your personal coach, calling out when to push hard and when to recover.
How do I import sessions?
Easy peasy…Start creating a new workout, scroll to the bottom, and tap 'Import from CSV'. Just make sure your .csv file is formatted correctly before importing.

Is it available on my watch/tablet/desktop?
Not yet, but stay tuned; the intention is definitely there to expand PB Intervals™ reach. For now though, it's mobile-only.
Why won't the Siri voice work on the text to speech option?
This relates to iPhones, and unfortunately this one's on Apple; they're not allowing the Siri voice to be used for spoken content in apps yet. This means if you choose a Siri voice via 'Settings' > 'Accessibility' > 'Spoken Content' > 'Voices', your phone will default to something pretty basic (it's the same with all apps). You can change the spoken content voice to other options, just stay away from the Siri ones for now...fingers crossed they change this soon.
